এমন একটা বৃষ্টি দিনে..

এমন একটা বৃষ্টি দিনে বছর দশেক আগে..

জল জমেছে গাড়িয়াহাটে বেশ অনেক খানি,

দুস্টু একটা ছোট্ট ছেলে মায়ের অগোচরে,

দরজা খুলে গাড়ি থেকে সেই জলে নেমে পড়ে।

কথা শেষে ফোন রেখে মায়ের হুস হলো যখন,

দস্যি ছেলে জমা জলে খেলতে মত্ত তখন..

মা নেমে হনহনিয়ে ছেলের দিকে ধায়..

ভাগ্যিস রাস্তায় ট্রাফিক ছিল কম, 

তার জন্য ভগবানকে সে ধন্যবাদ জানায়।

দস্যি ছেলের ততক্ষনে জামা জুতো ভিজে,

ভয়ে ভয়ে মায়ের দিকে তাকায় সে,

এই বুঝি মা এসে তাকে দিলো দু ঘা দিয়ে,

দেখে মা এসে ওড়না কষে লাফায় তার হাত ধরে..

তাকে কোলে নিয়ে ওপরে তুলে মা বলে হেসে,

তোর সাথে ফিরে পেলাম আমার ছোটবেলা শেষে।

আজ অনেক দিন পরে বসে ছাদের কোনে, 

দেখি শরতের আকাশে সাদা মেঘের ভেলার সারি..

দুদিন হলো বৃষ্টি চলে গেছে..

কিন্তু শুনি বন্যায় ডুবেছে গ্রামের সব বাড়ি।

মনটা ভীষণ খারাপ হয় নিউজ দেখে,

গ্রাম বাংলা ভাসছে জলের তোড়ে,

কত মানুষ দিন কাটাচ্ছে অনিশ্চয়তা ভরে,

তারা পথের ধারে ও ট্রাকে অস্থায়ী ঘর বাঁধে। 

ঘর বাড়ি সব গেছে নষ্ট হয়ে,

কদিন পরে ফিরবে ওরা কোথায়, 

ওগুলো কি আর থাকার মতো আছে?

বৃষ্টি নিয়েও রাজনীতি হয় নাকি?

বলি বৃষ্টি কি কারোর শাসনে পড়ে ঝড়ে!

প্রকৃতি যদি অশান্ত হয় তবে,

ডিভিসি বা মুখ্যমন্ত্রী কি বা করতে পারে?

পুজো আসতে আর কটাদিন বাকি,

কলকাতায় সবাই কত আনন্দ করে,

ওদের ঘরে কি আসবেনা মা এবার,

শারদীয়া কি শুধু মোদের তরে?

পুজো উদ্যোক্তাদের এই অনুরোধ জানাই,

বাজেট ছেঁটে দাঁড়ান ওদের পাশে,

বানভাসি আমাদের গ্রাম বাংলা দেখে টিভির স্ক্রিনে, 

জমকালো শারদীয়ায় কি সত্যি খুশি আছে?

মা আসুক সবার ঘরে ঘরে..

শুভ শারদীয়া হোক সবার তরে।

Mr A - He had friendship with bad politicians, consults astrologers, two wives, chain smoker, drinks eight to 10 times a day.

Mr B - He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps till noon, used opium in college & drinks whiskey every evening.

Mr C - He is a decorated war hero,a vegetarian, doesn't smoke , doesn't drink and never cheated on his wife.

You would say Mr.C

right?

But..
Mr. A was Franklin Roosevelt! ( 32nd President of the USA)

Mr. B was Winston Churchill!! (Former British Prime Minister)

Mr C Was ADOLF HITLER!!!

Strange but true..
Its risky to judge anyone by his habits !
Character is a complex phenomenon.

So every person in ur life is important ,don't judge them ,accept them.
Three beautiful thoughts

1. None can destroy iron, but its own rust can!
Likewise, none can destroy a person, but his own mindset can.

2. Ups and downs in life are very important to keep us going, because a straight line even in an E.C.G. means we are not alive.

3. The same Boiling Water that hardens the egg, Will Soften the Potato!
It depends upon Individual's reaction To stressful circumstances!

Behind the Success...!!

Success is a very important word in our life. We all are looking for success. Now-a-days, so many talented people we have. But out of them, some people are getting success in their life.

When a person says, I am successful in life.... Ok, you are.... But how you did it? There are some reason, Have a look.....

Behind the Success :-

I think, if someone has a talent then success has come in someone's life in 2 way-

1) By Man-made ( Directly) 

2) By Luck ( Indirectly). 

1) By Man-made ( Directly):-

It has two different way :-

i)  Self-made, and

ii) Provided. 

i)  Self-made: In this case, the person is established by self. Everything has done by his/her's own capability and faced lots of struggle. 

ii) Provided: Where a ready platform is given by Parent, Family, Friends or familiars etc, so that you will reach to your destination struggle free. You have to need a relation with them in any category. 

2) By Luck ( Indirectly):  Luck is very important in both case - Self-made and Provided. Indirectly, it plays a major role on us. We all know that, " Hard working is the key of Success ", but without luck you never achieve a success at all. 

Life isn't a Mathematics! so that, if you do correct,  you get full marks.

If you think, you have a talent, have a great presenting skill, so that. you will pass the Exam or the Interview. But some time it does not work at all. When you got a chance, it means your Destiny is favour to you. 

You born in a reputated family, is your luck. Where family gives you their fame to avoid struggle. Also you are provided a smooth path for walking. 

When some people are alive after passing through the dangerous TSUNAMI and NEPAL EARTHQUAKE, you can't explain it, how did they alive....Its called Luck!

You are losing your Dad/Mom in an important stage, when you grow up....
It's a bad luck for you. You lost your Helping Hand. Then your life has become hard, full of struggle. Although, you have a possibility to achieve thing but your life is divert. That is Bad Luck. That I was facing in my life.

So, you can't ignore LUCK. You don't say that, " I am established because of my own talent only without any God Blessing. " 

Actually, " God's Blessings " is " The Luck " to me.

So, when you achieve your success and your friends or familiar aren't, you should think about :
How lucky you are and they aren't!
How much you give an effort to achieve it?
How much you face struggle?
What's your talent?
And how much you deserve this success?
Then you can show your pride, vainglory to your friends or familiar. Otherwise you don't have any right to ignore them.

Story of a Pregnant Deer...

In a remote forest, a pregnant deer is about to give birth to a baby.  

It finds a remote grass field near by a river and slowly goes there thinking it would be safe.

As she moves slowly, she gets labor pain, at the same moment, dark clouds gather around that area and lightning starts a forest fire.

Turning left she sees a hunter who is aiming an arrow from a distance. 

As she tries to move towards right, she spots a hungry lion approaching towards her.

                                               

Now the river is also swollen with rain water coming down stream. The banks are getting overflowing with flood water.

What can the pregnant deer do, as she is already under labor pain?

     It is indeed a critical situation:

• What do you think will happen?
•  Will the deer survive?
• Will it give birth to a fawn? 
• Will the fawn survive? Or
• Will everything be burnt by the forest fire?

 Now let us come out of the story.

 What do you think the deer should do or will do?

 Imagine you are in the place of the pregnant deer.    

 Take a writing pad and write down, the best option or the possible scenario. Write what ever else you want to add. 

 We will see in the following pages if you are right, somewhat right or fully right.

  That particular moment?…

• Can the deer go left? – Hunter’s arrow is pointing

• Can she go right? – Hungry male lion approaching

• Can she move up? – Forest fire

• Can she move down? – Fierce river

   Indeed a very critical time in the life of that young pregnant deer. Will she deliver, see her young one come alive in this world and jump around? 

 Answer is - She does nothing. She just focuses on giving birth to a new LIFE.

 She is totally concentrated on selecting a soft grass bed, where her young one could safely land and see this wonderful world for the first time.

 She is unaware of the dangers all around. 

You will be surprised. The sequence of events that happens at that fraction of a second (moment) is as follows: 

• In a spur of MOMENT, lightning from the cloudy sky blinds the eyes of the Hunter
• At that MOMENT, he releases the arrow missing and zipping past the deer
• At that MOMENT, the arrow hits and injures the lion badly
• At that MOMENT, it starts to rain heavily and the downpour puts out the forest fire                   
  

Next MOMENT, the mother deer gives birth to a healthy fawn.

 

 In life, it’s always a MOMENT of CHOICE and we all have to always deal with such difficult situations. Some negative situations are so powerful and they overpower us. They make us clueless. But like a new dawn breaking the dark night, such a situation may melt away without a trace. 

Anything can happen in a MOMENT in this life    

We all feel the same. But, whatever one may call it, the priority of the deer in that given moment was to give birth to a baby…because LIFE IS PRECIOUS. And the deer went by natural instinct of a mother!

What is Stochastic theory? Stochastic means having a random probability, but not predicted precisely or accurately. In life so many events cannot be predicted with certainty. A threatening storm may pass off as  strong winds causing no damage at all!

Such complex situation are not uncommon in our life and in the work centre. Most of the time we press the panic button. We loose our cool, rational thinking. And seem to do irrational things, there by creating more mess. 

 So How does one face the scenario? Steps are very simple: 

• Keep cool, think and proceed cautiously
• If required, consult your seniors or peers
• Do not rush – analyze in all angles
•  It is possible, the situation will turn out to be not so complicated as you originally thought.
